RECURSOS PARA LA CLASE DE AP ESPAÑOL

Este año vamos a usar varios recursos para la clase:



FLIPGRID (La usaremos para interactuar oralmente sobre un tema).

AUDACITY (para grabar y editar ).

AUDIOLINGUA (para las audiciones por niveles).

PADLET (La usaremos para poner en común ideas, bien sea para el inicio de un nuevo tema o para iniciar un debate).

CLASSROOM (Como  ya todos conocéis , todos los años abrimos un classroom para compartir actividades , recursos, control de actividades y deberes. Aparte podemos anunciar fechas de exámenes y cualquier otro tipo de tarea asignada.

AP CLASSROOM  Este curso vamos a trabajar en conjunto con AP Classroom (College Board), en el cual encontraremos varios recursos y modelos de actividades de exámenes.

BABLINGUA Y FLIPPEDSPANISH. Ambas plataformas bien conocidas por todos, ya que trabajamos con ellas en años pasados.

LIBRO DEL ALUMNO. TRIÁNGULO APROBADO. Vamos a trabajar con este libro online. Os daré un código y podremos trabajar algunos textos y audiciones.

PARTES DEL EXAMEN

SECTION  I.

PART A.   

Interpretive Communication: Print Texts.

Section I, Part A requires you to interpret meaning from a variety of print materials. You will be asked to identify main points and significant details, evaluate the author´s purpose, and make inferencia and predicciones. To be successful, you should employ a variety of reading strategies.

PART B.

Interpretive Communication: Print and Audio Texts (combined).

Section I, part B requires you to interpreta meaning from a combinación of print and audio texts. This activitiy type has two formas; in one, you will listen to an audio report and read an article; and in the other, you will listen to a conversation and read a chart. Some strategies will be  appropriate for both formats, but you will also want to apply strategies targeted to each format.

PART C.

Interpretive Communication: Audio Texts.

Section I, part C requires you to listen to audio recordings and answer múltiple choice questions about them. You will be asked to interpret meaning from three different types of recordings: interviews, instrucciones, and presentaciones. You will have a chance to listen to each audio text twice. Use these strategies to help you succeed.

SECTION II

Free Response

 The Free Response section of the AP Spanish Language and Culture Exam focuses on your Interpersonal and Presentational Communication Skills. 

PART A.

Interpersonal Writing: E-mail Reply.

As the direcciones state: "You will write a reply to an e-mail message. You have 15 minutes to read the message and write your reply. Your reply should contain at least 125-150 words in order to answer the email effectively.

Your reply should include a greeting and closing and should respond to all the questions and requests in the message. In your reply, you should ask for more details about something metioned in the message. Also, you should use a formal form or address.

PART B.

Presentational Writing: Persuasive Essay.

You will write a persuasive essay to submit a Spanish writing contest. The essay topic is based on three accompanying sources, which present different viewpoints on the topic  and include both print and audio materials. First, you will have 6 minutes to read the essay topic and the printed material. Afterward, you will hear the audio material twice; you should take notes while you listen. Then, you will have 40 minutes to prepare and write your essay. In your persuasive essay, you should present the sources´different viewpoints on the topic and also clearly indicate your own viewpoint and defend it thoroughly. Use information from all of the sources to support your essay . As you refer to the sources, identify them appropriately. Also, organize your essay into clear paragraphs.

PART C.

Interpersonal Speaking: Conversation,

You will participate in a conversation. First, you will have 1 minute to read a preview of the conversation, including an outline of each turn in the conversation. Afterward, the conversation will begin, following the outline. Each time it is your turn to speak, you will have 20 seconds to record your response. You should participate in the conversation as fully and appropriately as possible.

PART D.

Presentational Speaking: Cultural Comparison.

You will make an oral presentation on a specific topic to your class. You will have 4 minutes to read the presentation topic and prepare your presentation. Then you will have 2 minutes to récord your presentation. In your presentation, compare your own community to an área of the Spanish-speaking world with which you are familiar. You should demostraste your understanding of cultural features of the Spanish-speaking world. You should also organize your presentation clearly.

Las unidades didácticas que vamos a trabajar este año son las siguientes;

1) Families in Different Societies
2) The Influence of Language and Culture on Identity.
3) Influences of Beauty and Art.
4) How Science and Technology Affect Our Lives.
5) Factors That Impact the Quality of Life.

No debemos olvidar que no son temas que vamos a trabajar de manera individual, si no que por el contrario, todos ellos están interrelacionados.
